Drill Dojo Doodles

Planning a Free Online Sampler Event

It’s been almost a year since I hosted my first online Pyware/Visual Design training event. In 2020 I hosted The Drill Dojo Pyware Tutorial and the Drill Dojo Visual Design Workshop Both workshops were originally intended to be in-person events. However, the Covid-19 Pandemic had other plans forcing me to move the 2 to 100% online. At first, I viewed this as a negative but as things turned out I actually think being 100% online has it’s advantages. Sure, you miss the time between sessions to socialize and share ideas with others attending the workshop, but the amount of money saved by not having to rent space or provide food can be passed onto the participants. Not to mention the savings in housing and travel.

So with above mentioned advantages, I’ve decided to be fully online again for 2021. In fact, I decided to add an event. A 100% free and 100% online Drill Dojo Sampler A low obligation way for those interested in learning more about using Pyware or visual design to get that experience. The sampler will last one hour and take place Saturday April 10, 2021 running from 11:00 am-Noon Central Time (Noon-1:00 pm Eastern) It is absolutely FREE to all who register and will be presented over the zoom platform.

My plan is to take materials I have already generated and present portions of each during the hour. I’ve been asking participants to provide suggestions for topics as well. So far, the line-up looks like this:

Visual Design Helpful Hints

Pyware Tips

Generating Ideas

The Opening Set

Logic in Design

Writing for Small Bands

Design Trends

Q&A

I’m hoping for great conversation and sharing not only on my part, but the participants’. I’m trying to have a free mini-workshop. A sample of what happens at a Drill Dojo event. Click Here to register for the FREE April 10, 2021 Drill Dojo Sampler.
